I was born near Milan, in the year 1966, when Star Trek made its debut on NBC with its first episode “The Man Trap”, England beat West Germany 4-2 in a controversial final at Wembley after extra time, and Walt Disney died.

More talented in tennis than advertising, I got into this business after a severe knee injury.

I love photography, movies, typography, graphic design and playing with words and idioms.

In 1989, I started working in the advertising agency Saatchi&Saatchi, where I stayed for a decade before going to Y&R. Since 2012, I’ve been a creative consultant for several advertising firms.

In 2023 I wrote the book Il Mestiere dell'Art Director for the publishing house Bibliografica.
